LEGAL INFORMATION

Privacy Policy

How we handle your personal information and respect your privacy.

Effective date: 8 November 2026

This notice describes the website's current data practices. The operator must confirm its full legal entity name and registration details, where applicable, before public launch. The supplied contact location and phone number are reproduced below and have not been independently verified.

1. Who we are

SkillSchool operates this corporate learning website. For queries about personal data, use our contact form (select “General Enquiry”) or telephone +44 20 7323 8090. Correspondence address: Great Russell Street, London, WC1B 3DG, United Kingdom.

2. Information we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, work email, organisation, area of interest, message, the date and time of submission, and a one-way hash of your network address for security. When you subscribe, we collect your email address, marketing consent statement, submission date and time, and the same security hash. Subscription activity is recorded to document your consent.

We do not ask you to submit special-category personal information through the forms. Please do not include sensitive information in free-text fields.

3. Why we use it and our lawful bases

  • Enquiries: to review and respond to questions about programmes, and take steps at your request before a potential contract (or, where appropriate, our legitimate interest in handling business correspondence).
  • Subscriptions: to send marketing updates where you have actively opted in; consent is the lawful basis.
  • Security: to prevent spam and misuse, relying on legitimate interests in maintaining a secure website.
  • Compliance: to comply with legal obligations where they apply.

4. Where data is stored and who can access it

Form records are saved on the server hosting this website. The website code has no third-party CRM, analytics tracker or automatic marketing email integration. Authorised server administrators may access stored records. Your hosting provider may process data as part of infrastructure operations. If additional providers are connected later, this notice should be updated first.

5. Marketing preferences

Marketing requires a separate, unchecked opt-in. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us using the enquiry form. Marketing emails must also include a working opt-out mechanism. Withdrawing consent does not prevent us from replying to a legitimate existing enquiry.

6. How long we keep information

Enquiries are intended to be reviewed and deleted when no longer necessary, with a default operational target of 12 months unless a longer retention is justified. Active subscriber records are kept until withdrawal or another lawful reason for removal. Withdrawal requests must be handled promptly by the operator and reflected in the mailing platform. The website does not automatically delete records by age; the operator is responsible for reviewing and enforcing these periods.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, erasure of, restriction of, or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Submit a request through the contact form with the subject “General Enquiry”. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Where the UK GDPR applies, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. Other privacy laws, including Turkish data protection law where applicable, may confer additional rights.

8. International transfers

The physical location of the server is determined by the website operator's hosting arrangement. Hosting outside the UK may involve cross-border transfers. Before publishing, the operator should check the hosting location and put any necessary safeguards in place.

9. Security

We employ server-side validation, request throttling, CSRF protection and restricted record files. No internet transmission or system is completely secure. The operator should use HTTPS, maintain server patches, and restrict backups and server access.

10. Cookies and local storage

Essential session cookies protect forms from cross-site submission. Your cookie choice may be saved in local browser storage. We do not currently deploy optional analytics or advertising cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

11. Children

This service is intended for business users and is not designed to collect information from children.

12. Updates

We may update this notice when our processing practices change. Any updated version will be published here with a revised effective date.
